Multivision Screens is playing a key role in the refurbishment of Dublin's Stella Rathmines cinema.
In April 2017, Multivision Screens was asked to play a key role in the refurbishment of a former cinema, the Stella Rathmines Cinema, located in Dublin. This iconic cinema, closed since 2004, needed a significant transformation to restore its former glory. Our brief was to install a motorised, multi-format roll-up screen with an impressive width of 10 metres.
The carefully planned installation finally took place in September 2017. However, it was more complex than expected, as it took place in an environment undergoing major renovation, characterised by darkness and dust. After many hours of hard work, our team succeeded in overcoming these obstacles so that the screen blends harmoniously into this baroque environment.
This exceptional screen is equipped with a perforated fabric offering a luminosity gain of 1.8, and features vertical and horizontal masking, allowing the projection format to be changed at will. Thanks to our expertise and dedication, Dublin's Stella Rathmines cinema has been able to recapture its glorious past and deliver an unrivalled cinematic experience to its audiences.
